Be My Eyes Expands to Apple macOS, Bringing AI-Powered Visual Assistance to
More Desktop Users Than Ever

Be My Eyes Workplace is now available for macOS alongside the launch of Be My
Eyes for Mac, completing the Be My Eyes for Desktop experience across Windows
and Mac.

Austin, TX, USA, July 6, 2026 — Be My Eyes today announced, at the National
Federation for the Blind Annual Convention in Austin, Texas, the expansion of
its desktop offerings to macOS, making both Be My Eyes Workplace and Be My Eyes
for MacOS available to users worldwide. Together with the existing Windows
applications, these releases complete the desktop family of products,
delivering AI-powered visual assistance across the two most widely used desktop
operating systems.

The launch represents a significant milestone in Be My Eyes’ mission to make
digital experiences more accessible and inclusive. Whether at work or at home,
blind and low vision users can now access the same powerful visual assistance
experience on the desktop platform of their choice.

For individuals, Be My Eyes for Mac extends the company’s existing free Be My
Eyes for Windows offering to macOS, providing access to Be My Eyes’ AI-powered
visual assistance for personal everyday computing. Users can ask questions
about what’s on their screen, receive contextual descriptions, and get help
describing all manner of digital content—all from their Mac desktop.
Collectively the Windows and MacOS offerings for personal use is known as Be My

workplace assistance. Designed specifically for professional environments, Be
My Eyes Workplace helps employees independently interact with workplace

enterprise-grade security, privacy controls, and centralized deployment, which
are all critical for enterprise deployments.

“Desktop computing remains at the center of how people work, create, and
communicate,” said Mike Buckley, CEO of Be My Eyes. “By bringing both our free
consumer experience and our enterprise solution to macOS, we’re ensuring that
blind and low vision users don’t have to choose between their preferred
platform and accessible, AI-powered visual assistance. Be My Eyes is now
available to our users no matter what computing platform they have.”

The expansion to macOS also provides organizations with greater flexibility
when deploying accessible technology across mixed-device environments.
Employees using either Windows or Mac can now benefit from a consistent Be My
Eyes Workplace experience, simplifying IT deployment while helping create more
inclusive workplaces.

The launch builds on Be My Eyes’ growing portfolio of AI-powered and hybrid
accessibility solutions, combining advanced computer vision with conversational
AI and person-to-person support that can help users understand visual
information in real time. From interpreting charts and documents to navigating
complex software interfaces, Be My Eyes Workplace brings visual assistance
