Right and I am wanting to change my iCloud email address

Note I did this a few years ago, and these steps look familiar to me. How to change your Apple ID email (iPhone or iPad) 1.. Open Settings. 2.. Tap your name at the top. 3.. Tap Sign‑In & Security. 4.. Tap your Primary Email. 5.. Toggle Primary Email off. 6.. Choose another email already on your account or tap Add Email. 7.. Enter the new email and complete the verification Apple sends. If the email you’re removing is a non‑iCloud address (e.g., Gmail), you can remove it entirely.
