I agree with you, Sieghart, about AI. Anything can be abused, not just AI.

We had not yet picked out a paint colour for the wall and I used Microsoft Copilot a lot for this, I uploaded pictures of the tile and Quartz, that the door was made from solid alder and that the ceiling was a grey-washed hemlock tongue and groove. I also told it that we chose polished chrome for the fixtures and that our local store carried Benjamin Moore paint. Copilot then proceeded to give me exact recommendations for various grey tones and a few others, but grey is what we wanted and the final first choice it gave me was also the one my contractor as well as the cabinet maker who built the vanity chose. I also used Copilot to make sure we had enough heating in the ensuite bathroom because originally it was part of a single bathroom and in splitting it into a small powder room with just a toilet and sink and a sink for our use during the day as well as when guests were over and then into the ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet and a large vanity. The vent from our central heating system ended up in the powder room, but we put electric under-tile heating in as well as a heated towel rack and I wanted to make sure this was enough to heat the space. Copilot gave me exact estimates of how many BTU's I would need to heat the bathroom where one wall is the outside wall of the house and also how much I get from putting in the in-floor heating and heated towel rack. We also live in a cold climate and while it's rare, it can get down to -30 Fahrenheit here and in the end the recommendation was to add 1 additional heat source which we did in the form of an infrared heating panel which is built flush into the ceiling. Anyways, all I am trying to say with all this is that what AI can do is absolutely amazing and I love it. Even just the small things with iOS 27 like the ability to have pretty much any image or screen described and to ask questions if you want is an absolute game changer just as what so many of us thought when Be My AI and Seeing AI or PiccyBot first came out. Can AI be used for bad stuff? Absolutely. Should governments impose restrictions on companies who in some cases want to go absolutely crazy?
