Yes, except for us it was transferring the phone number from the physical SIM card in our iPhone 16 Pros to the iPhone 18 Pro where it got converted to an eSIM. For me it was absolutely smooth, my wife only got her iPhone 18 pro today and trying to transfer the number did not want to work. I then left it meaning to call our provider tomorrow, then tonight I thought I would try it one more time and it finally worked.
