Hello, Danny.
Itunes Match has nothing, to the best of my knowledge, to do with
Apps. Assuming that you have updated your new device to the latest version
of iOS, you should be able to simply go to the app store on the iPod, click
"updates" in the tabs on the bottom of the screen, and find, at the top of
the screen, a heading called "purchases". Double tap that heading and all
your purchases, both paid and free, will be available. You can install the
ones you want from there. There should also be a method to download all the
purchases with one button click, but I'm afraid I don't know whether this
button, the download all button, is at the top or bottom of the list, I
don't have my unit in front of me.
        I hope that's of use.
        Aman

Subject: HowDoIGetMyAppsWhenSwitchingDevices?
DoIHave2Pay$25ToSubscribe2Match?

Hi All, I've been out of the group loop for several months, as my Old 3rd
gen, Ipod Touch has been virtually dead, barely charges sometimes, but
hasn't come up above 12% in months, and hasn't interfaced with a computer
since mid october 2011.
I obtained a 64Gig, 4thGen Touch, from a friend earlier this week.
I have several bought and a bunch of free aps on the old one, which won't
come to life at all any more, but a record of them, is, of course, in the
apple store. From what I read on Itunes/latest version this evening, it
would appear that in order to download my apps to my new Touch, I've gotta
subscribe to Match at the rate of $24 and change for one year. I'm not
wanting to "use the cloud" at least not at the moment. Are there any work
arounds?
Sorry to ask "dumb questions," but that's how you get "smart answers!
Reply either on or off list, and thanks ______Much!
Danny Dyer, Toccoa, GA, USA.
