Hi Shawn, I don't know exactly what you mean by "delete all your recent history", but you can delete Recent items on the iPhone. If you mean can you delete the entire history then you are correct, you can't do that on the iPhone. But you can delete individual conversations. You can do this by going to the Recents tab, then double tap on the Edit button at the top left of the screen. Now a "Delete, switch button" appears beside each conversation/history item and you can double tap it, then double tap to confirm.

It's not a question of which version of Skype is easier, but how you're going to use it. Like for instance, on both Mac and iPhone, there are several things you can and can't do. On the Mac, if you are planning to set up voicemail, you can't check them with the Skype client on the Mac but you can on the iPhone. On the iPhone you can't delete all your recent history but on the Mac you can.
