Keep in mind that there may not be a version yet which supports the lightning Connector. If you have an iPhone 5 you have to check the Bose website to see if they already released a dock for that or if all they have is the 30-Pin connector model. I guess if that is so you can still use it with an adapter and a dock extender cable, but if I had an iPhone 5 which at this point I don't, I would certainly want to buy a dock with already has the Lightning connector.
If you are anywhere near a larger store like Best Buy or even an Apple Store your best option is always to go and physically check out the docks since everybody has preferences and what I like may not be the same as what you like. At a store you usually have the option to listen to the dock and check it out.
