I sure did. Blindtunes is free. Still, at this point, I do not believe that these helper programs are necessary.

Hi Andy,

Since when does John Martin charge for BlindTunes? I think maybe you mix up
BlindTunes and JTunes. JTunes which I am not sure is even kept up-to-date is
a Jaws cript which does cost money, BlindTunes is free at least as far as I
know.

Regards,
Sieghard

iTunes works pretty well with the latest version of JAWS. in fact, there is
an FSCAST on using JAWS wiht iTunes on the FS site. Blindtunes is a
collection of JAWS scripts that makes it easier to use with iTunes, but you
have to buy it, and the need for it has decreased as the screen readers have

adapted to work better with iTunes. Also, any upgrade to either JAWS or
iTunes breaks the scripts, and you need to then wait for the author of
Blindtues to update them. I just don't feel that Blindtunes is worth the
money. Also, i believe that you have to pay additional for Blindtunes
upgrades.

Subject: Blind Tunes and iTunes

As everyone knows, I am now the proud owner of a new iPhone 5, my
first cell phone ever. I understand from all of you that iTunes is
needed to interface with the iPhone. I use JAWS 14 and have heard
about a program called Blind Tunes, which makes iTunes much more
accessible. I would like to try using blind tunes but it is unclear
which version of iTunes I should use with Blind Tunes.

I have read much discussion here about iTunes, but Blind Tunes is
never mentioned it seems. I would appreciate help in figuring out
what version of iTunes to install and any accessibility add ons,
whether Blind tunes or another program, that would be the easiest to
use on a Windows XP Pro machine running JAWS 14.
