selecting text is 1 of the hardest things that I had to deal with in
regards with the iphone. The key here is to practice every day or as
much as you can. I noticed since I starting practicing every day, I
have gotten better at it but honestly it does take a lot of patient and
practice. There are 2 podcast links which I am going to paste below,
give them a listen and hope they will help you.
on this first link look for Episode 12 this person does a wonderrful job
with his democast and is a great resource to keep.

the second link is also good and he does go a bit more extensively with
examples regarding how to copy and paste.
