Denice,
List Recorder is a wonderful app but I would never use it as a straight
reminders app. One big reason at least for me is that Siri works great
with reminders so I can simply invoke Siri and say "remind me to call
the doctor tomorrow at 9am".
Siri sets the reminder for you and you get the appropriate alarm at the
correct time. If you wanted to get fancy which I personally don't do,
you can even set reminders based on locations if you have location
services turned on.
