Hi, Tobi, I'm crazy about this game. I hate to tell you this, but it sounds as if you just need more practice. It took me a month to win my first level of artifacts, but it got progressively easier as things went on. For the artifacts, just listen for the higher pitch of the beam as you move toward the home button. The nephalim are more tricky. Just keep pushing them away till you hear nothing, or Emily says that they're gone. You can email me off-list if you like, should you have more questions, etc.
