Level of extra bulk and degree of protection I reckon. I have the Impact which seems a good compromise. Good rubbery case, easy to fit, don't add too much bulk, cheaper, but stil good protection; beefy padded corners is the key feature I'd say. Can get away with a sstandard speedDots protector with it too.
