Hi Heather,

The Apple TV is not actually a TV as in a big thing with a large LCD screen.
It is in fact a rather tiny box, maybe like putting 2 iPhone side by side
and twice as thick. You connect the Apple TV to your actual TV or surround
sound receiver and it allows you to access certain content. The Apple TV
does have it's own Voiceover and a very simple 3-button remote which you use
to navigate the also simple menu structure. You can access iTunes and rent
or purchase movies and TV shows, you can access Netflix if you have a
subscription and watch stuff on Youtube. You can also listen to internet
radio stations and podcasts and access the content of your iTunes library on
your computer provided you enable home sharing.
There are also some sports channels I think, a sighted person can access
their pictures stored on Flicker and that's about it. You do not have access
to television networks like ABC or CBS or channels like deisney, HBO and so
on.

Regards,
Sieghard
