Hi,
I'm the developer of Voice Dream Reader. You're right: text navigation
with VoiceOver on needs work. I'm thinking through this problem
carefully and will have a good solution soon.
For now, you can do a search in the text to find the Title, for
example, and make a bookmark there. I know making a bookmark requires
the imprecise long-press on the screen. It may help to know that when
it navigates to a piece of text through search, the text is about one
quarter down from the top of the screen.
My goal is for you to do everything around long-running content with
one text to speech readers. I think we'll get there soon.

The slider is too difficult to control to get anywhere close to

So, this app will never replace Read2Go for me since I am a
Bookshare member
and like to have access to the text, etc.

I don't have access to bookshare, but does the fast forward option
move you
from section to section? If not, can't you use the slider to skip
the intro
section?
Does this app only do bookshare books? I have tried importing
another text
only daisy book and it doesn't show up in this app.
