I spoke with our developer today. We did not set a limit on the number
of characters you can type in BrailleTouch. However it is unclear how
Apple handles very long strings, and what operating system limits come
into play. We will continue to look into this.
I would be careful if you take notes continuously for a long meeting, as
I would not want to see you lose your work. A safe suggestion would be
to select Copy periodically, and switch to the iPhone Notes app and
paste the text to save it.
Thanks again for your question, and I'll let you know if I find
additional information on how many characters you can type before saving
in BrailleTouch.
