I suspect that's the case. Mine did the same thing when I got the same case. I have the iPhone 4 or at least for now I do. Thinking very strongly about going to the 5. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ezzie" <[email protected]>

Hello Gina and all,

No, I have not yet dropped my phone (Thank goodness for that). Now that I think about it, the sensor has been acting up since I got my OtterBox. Could that be it?

There is also a speaker phone button so while you're on a call look for that to see if it's unselected or selected

Sent from my iPhone; please excuse all mistakes

Hello,

It sounds like you've stuck something over the proximity sensor. I've got no idea where it is but guessing it's near the top of the screen side. Or have you bashed or dropped it?

During a call, isn't there a mute button as well as the end call button? I'm struggling to hear VO whilst on a call so I can't check it out. Let your finger explore.

Hello list,

I tend to have my rhone flat on my desk when I use it to call people.
It use to automatically go to speaker phone, but it no longer does.
I've put the phone on my ear and have taken it away, but that doesn't
work. What could be the problem?
On another note, how do I mute myself during a call (if, for instance, a
family came to tell me something and didn't want the caller to hear)?

Thank you,
Ezzie
