Hi,

I notice you've had a response from David, who does know what he's talking
about, but you may prefer my method so I'll tell you. I keep it quick and
simple because I have loads of mail in a day!

When I first go into my mail, the first message is often read out.
Occasionally this doesn't happen and I have to flick right/left, whatever, to
get to the main part of the message where I do a two finger swipe up. This
reads the message and, if I really need to know who it's from, I can flick left
to find out.

Anyway, I don't use the quick delete, as I call it, but use the delete button
which is almost lined up with the Home button. This says "Delete button"
following that double tap and when I double tap following this response I hear
Deleted, Ithink.

I am then ready to do the two-fingered swipe up once again to read the next
message and just check if I wish to know someone's address or name.

This might sound very long-winded, but it's the best method for me. I pprobably
haven't explained it very well but give it a go and see how you get on. Do let
me know what you think of it.
