Don't know about the hearing aid setting but you can pair the ICom with your
phone via bluetooth. You can answer and hang-up phone calls with the big
button on the front of the ICom.

According to some Phonak customers you can use a Panasonic KX-TG-774x phone
with the Icom or Com Pilot. This allows you to use a landline phone hands
free and have the much better audio. My audiologist, who is very
knowledgeable and help get some of my suggestions incorporated in the new
Com Pilot, wasn't aware of this. It took several days of web crawling and a
number of phone calls to even get the various reps to understand what I want
to do. I live in the booneys so a friend tried several stores in Phoenix
and Dallas but none would allow him to try to connect to his Com Pilot.

Subject: Ipad 3 and the "hearing aids," button in settings

Hi, listers:

This morning, while playing with Settings, in Accessibility, I clicked a
"hearing aids," button. Ipad began searching for devices. I assumed it was
searching for something like my Icom, a streamer box for my hearing aids, so
I quickly put it into pairing mode, but they didn't find one another.

Is this a bad guess on my part, and if so, what does this actually do?

Curious:
