Hi Don
I did not incorporate the Express into my wifi PC system, so
because it is a router it therefore works on its own
network, so whenever I go to places and there is a sound
system I just plug it in and I can stream music.

Fanus

There is one more difference which should be noted here.

The airport express is also an airplay device and has a 3.5
mil female
jakc on the bakc to feed audio in to a stereo.

The extreme doesn't have this.

You can take your iPhone connect via wifi to the airport
express, and
with the appropriate patch ord stream any audio your
listening to on
your iPhone to your stereo in beautiful quality and keep
voiceovers
audio on your phones speaker and not have it yelling at you
through your
stereo.

You can also control the music volume separately from
voiceovers volume
making the listening epxerience as good as it gets.

I bought the airport express just for this reason even
though I have
several more capable routers here.

I am enjoying it very much.

Don
