I've had this problem as well. Last August we visited Yellowstone National
Park and I got some nice video shots with my sighted wife describing what we
were looking at. There was also some pictures because we left the motor
home parked and took a guided toured and she left her phone at the motor
home so we just used my phone to take the pictures. They showed up in my
dropbox folder as you described. I moved them to an external hard drive but
then decided to copy them onto her iPhone as the stills did no good for me
and ran into the same problem.

I have some old photos that are on drop box from when I had my iPhone 4.
Now, they show up in my camera uploads, but I cannot get them into the
camera roll on my phone. Does this make sense? I go passed them, and they
won't say anything, so I turned voice over off and tapped on the screen,
then turned voice over back on, and it says unable to load photo. How do I
get them exported onto my phone?
