Yes, the Verbatim keyboard has a switch to lock it in the open position,
so you can use it on your lap. I've gotten used to the key sizes,
position and fold. I think you'd also have to get used to using a
smaller keyboard as well. The only keyboards you wouldn't have to get
used to would be the full size keyboard, so you need to make some trade
offs between portability and familiarity of the keyboard layout.
