I am very impressed. Being that there have been no messages about it so far, I will post a couple observations. I admit that I am not typing this message with Braille Touch.
The first thing I had to get use to is that, when writing on a Perkins brailler, I am use to having to touch it much harder than is necessary with Braille Touch. After all, this is a touch screen, so very lightly is the way to go, just enough to get the job done. Not only is it more accurate, it surely is faster. Second, I thought the dots would be aligned very literally along the edges of the screen. One doesn't have to touch exactly along the edges of the screen. This is good. Third, if you want to send an email before you read the help about it, as I tried to do, I will save a step for you. Before you type the text of your email, you first have to type the subject line. Then, go into the menu, and set the email subject. It will assume that the text you just typed is the subject line. Then, touch it again, and start typing the body of the message. Hey, when all else fails, read the instructions. Finally, one work around I have had to adopt, and this may be on my phone only. If I want to start a sentence with the letter I or e, it wants to interpret it as a colon. It seems to have no problem interpreting any other first letters. So, I just do all six dots at once, and it makes that noise that says it doesn't know what I just typed. But it orients it, and will then interpret the i or e correctly.
