Unless I'm missing something, you just install dropbox on your iPad. It should show all of your files once it syncs (length of time will depend on the file size). If you want the file to be saved to your iDevice, you need to choose it as a favorite. Other than that, just double tap the file you'd like to view and it should open. If this doesn't happen, select it, and choose export. Then choose which program you'd like to view it with.
