I agree with pretty well all of this - I came to one conclusion, well, another conclusion really; if you think about fingers to dots; or just the one, first finger left is dot1; the rest follow naturally after that. Think about holding it and phone orientation, and confusion sets in. I tried the flipped setting, got it pretty well, then switched it back; like I said, so long as I'm thinking first finger left is dot1, it just works. Done a ton of texting on a noisy bus earlier, something I never do, couldn't do, could never hear the letters spoke as I groped for them. This way, you just hit it and it's done. So efficient, and to think I've not typed braille since at school, I'm over 60 now!
