Hi,
Actually, all of my keyboards will turn the phone on once I have powered
them up. So, with, for example, the Apple BT keyboard, I just press the power
button for a few seconds to get it to turn on and pair, then I check that it is
on by pressing the caps-lock button, I will hear the phone say "caps lock on"
and I am good to go!
Strangers with phones couldn't turn on your phone unless they were paired
with it, which would have to be done via your phone first. So no worries re
security.
Sandy.
