This is normal behavior, but if you want to show the virtual keyboard, there is a button on the very top right of the Apple Wireless keyboard which, if you press it, will toggle the on-screen keyboard on and off. How can you access the keypad, however, if you want to use that, to type your pass word when you're buying an app and it asks for it? I never see the keypad, and that is why I just type it in the place provided then I then flick over to the okay button, and it goes right in. Am I missing something that should be very obvious, grin!
