Hi everyone,

I'm sorry that some people are having trouble with text messaging from BrailleTouch. There appear to be two issues. 1. Regarding the orientation, we are working on a fix right now. There will be a new option in the Settings so that you will be able to force the messaging screens into Portrait or into Landscape, based on your personal preference. You will also be able to leave the messaging screen orientation automatic, which is the current behavior. This will be in an early software update.

2. Some people have reported that the text message screen does not appear after they select "Send Text Message" from the menu. I have personally observed a delay of about 1 second occasionally before the text message screen appears. We are looking into the cause of this.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback. I apologize for these issues, and we are working on a fix for them.

Best wishes,
Caleb

Hi,

I've found the same behaviour. So I use the clipboard, then open the
messaging app, and drop the data in their.

Hi,
I don't use twitter so I can't comment on that but I too have found
a slight problem with Braille Touch.
When sending a text message, sometimes I tell the app that I want to
send a message and the text message part doesn't come up. I have to
tap again and do it again. When it does come up, sometimes it
doesn't revert back to portrait but stays in landscape mode.
Has anyone else found this?
Thanks,
Cokes.

Hi,
First of all, I love the Braille Touch app, between this app and Siri, I
may
not do much traditional typing on my phone any longer.
Ok the problem is sending tweets from the app, I get a connection error
although I can tweet from the stock Twitter app just fine.
I looked at the Twitter settings and see that certain apps are allowed to
use Twitter, Braille Touch is not an option and I'm wondering if this
could
be the problem.
Oh and I did upgrade Braille Touch through the in-app purchase option.
Anyone out there having a similar problem?

Jon
