Hi, Casey, You might check out the help screen, which you can get to via the help button on the main screen. Basically, you turn the phone so the home button is on the right in landscape mode, then face the screen away from you. Hold it so that your thumbs are on the back toward you, and your fingers curve over the ends. Your left hand will be resting on the screen, with the index finger as dot one, middle finger as dot 2, and ring finger as dot three. Do the same with the right hand. It is like a split keyboard, with each side of the Braille cell going the short way.
This is the standard orientation of BrailleTouch. Others have found other ways to use it, but I haven't tried those, so experiment a bit and see how it goes.
