Hi Kim, What's probably happening is that you're accidentally tapping the screen with two fingers (rather than 1, which would tell the phone to do whatever it is you want it to do). A two-finger double tap starts and stops the playing of music. Just tap again with 12 fingers, and the music will stop. HTH, Penny
