Hi Louana, Keep in mind that if you get an iPhone on contract with a provider, the expensive part is not acquiring the phone as you can get an iPhone 4 with 8 GB storage for free and an iPhone 4S 16 Gb for $99. In fact, at least here in Canada there have been a lot of promotions where even the 16 Gb iPhone 4S was free with contract although most of our providers lock you into a 3-year contract. Anyhow, if you want to get full use out of the iPhone you will need a data plan and that is typically where the providers make their money.
Anyhow, Gazelle only buys, at least on their website they do. I assume they do turn around and sell the stuff they buy, but I'm not sure how their business model works.
