Marie, another keyboard you might want to consider is a Logitech K760. This is a solar keyboard that charges with sun and ambient light. It will go for 3 months without a new charge and there is no worry about batteries or charging cords. It is not folding but it is also smaller than a regular keyboard. A friend who is blind and a very good computer guy just bought one and loves it.

I love this keyboard, the typing is smoother than on the apple bt keyboard. it even has the media keys that work well with your IOS device, and I love switching devices on the fly.
