Hi Jess, You have two choices. One is to put in a letter sign before the letter, so dots 5-6 before k in your example. Another is to put in dot 4 before the letter. Dot 4 tells the ipHone to interpret the next character as a computer braille symbol. This is great if you want to put in things like slash, at sign, or percent sign.
