Hello all. Just to add to this, recalling an email message to a mailing list cannot be recalled. Furthermore, people who have email clients and receive this recall request will reject it and a notice will be sent to the list. This is what generates so many messages of the kind you all have seen.

So, 2 things to keep in mind.

1. Don't recall messages to mailing lists.

2. If you see tons of recall errors or spam in general, don't respond. It will be taken care of.

Hope that helps.

Hello all. Please, if you see messages which are odd or appear spammy,
or something which is not normal to the list, do yourself and everyone
on the list a favor and don't respond on list. If you want to know what
these things are, please write me or Cara Quinn privately. Asking on
list only adds to the off topic postings with your questions, and those
who respond. I'm taking steps to fix things as they happen on list.

Thanks much.
