Patti, you have to either have your headset plugged in or pull the phone away from your ear. In either case, swipe to the right until you hear hold and answer call. Double tap on that. This puts the first call on hold and allows you to answer the second line. After the call finishes swipe to the right again until you hear hold selected, double tap on that and you should be back with the first call.
