Hi, I understand now why you want to return it after I read your comparisons. I hadn't read those when I wrote my last message on this. To answer your question about the band, it's to put around the inner back of the headset. This way if you don't have an inflated head like me due to an ego, the headset will fit better. It provides for a more comfortable fit if it needs to be more snug. It has a clip on either end which fits into the small port-like holes on either side of the inner curve of the headset.

Hope that helps.

Hi Raul. I do have the S-11. I am pretty sure I am going to return it, though,
for the reasons I stated in my comparison earlier.

However, can you tell me what the little beaded like band is? It is about 5
inches long and came in a sealed plastic bag. I have not had anybody eyeball
the instructions for me, hence the question here.

All thanks!

Hi, the Motorola S series also tells you when things are connected and the
battery status. Also, the battery percentage is displayed on the iPhone status
bar.

Hope that helps.

The other day I wrote comparing the Motorola S – 11 and Plantronics backbeat
headphones. I ended by recommending the. 903/RUS model. Actually, the Backbeat
903/Plus are the newer and in my opinion the better model. This is considering
the delay in Bluetooth, the design, and sound. Also, the Plus model has speech
to tell you when you are connected and battery level, etc. you can also see the
percentage of battery remaining on the iPhone status line.
