On the model that I have, there is a button on the underside that you can press with your fingernail that puts it in to pair mode. So it says, when I first turned mine on, and pushed one of the bt buttons, it paired with no issues and without having to enter a pin number. So try putting your device in the bt menu option, push f1, f2, or f3, witch are the bt buttons, and see if your device finds it. HTH
