Notifications have been a bit funny since the recent update. A few people I know, including me, have had to uninstall the app and reinstall it in order to get notifications to work again even though they are already on. This did not work for me until yesterday, but I seem to be getting them again now. No idea why this has happened or what is going on. But I know that several people have had the same problem.
