Hello, If you double click the home button you will open the app switcher, now do a three finger swipe right. The orientation lock button will be on the lower left.
Since reading your post, I have been using Fleksy in landscape mode, and I do like it. I use my thumbs to type, and holding the phone in landscape mode is more secure and stable. I can type faster with this orientation. One note :I had to turn off the raise to speak feature, as my thong would constantly set it off.
