I got this reply from Fleksy adter sending a feedback regarding this problem.
Thank you for testing and thank you for pursuing this issue. What happens is VoiceOver has to go through a lot of pending requests, placed by the iOS in general, not just Fleksy, and slows down. We have been trying to minimize the amount of requests Fleksy sends, but beyond our app, there is little we can do. As a quick fix, enter the menu and swipe right to move the vo cursor. This action seems to reset all pending requests. Return to typing and the slowdown will be gone. You can also toggle VoiceOver off and back on again. Give it a shot, Thank you!
