All, There is a new version of the FaceBook app out. I am still testing; thus far the results are mixed. The timestamp issue, where you could not tell the age of a post, is resolved. Some posts seem to do nothing when double tapped one moment, and several minutes later open a new screen. I am still working out a hypothesis as to why. When I first opened the new version, I could only view 11 posts; scrolling down did not work. The old double tap hold and swipe up with one finger did not work either. Then, for no apparent reason, the scrolling began to function normally.
Edit boxes are at times behaving as I would expect, and at other times I can write or dictate text but it is not possible to edit. When I attempt to delete a character, I discover that I was placed at the end of the text and am deleting in the incorrect location. At other times, editing works as it does in most edit fields.
