I've had this twice and both times it was resolved after an IOS update.

Subject: updates not installing

I did an update on a bunch of apps on my 4S last evening. I got an alert
saying that some apps couldn't be installed and try again later. Turns out
there were 3 of them, Audible, twitter and tweetlist. Today, I have
successfully installed 2 more updates that appeared, but the 3 from
yesterday still have the "installing" note dimmed. No update, no open, just
a dimmed "install". I have restarted the phone. I have taken app store out
of my app switcher and relaunched it, all to no avail. Any ideas out there
in app installation land?

Mary
