I tried using this app last night. I asked it, "Who won the game in Super
Bowl 20 and what was the final score and stats? I thought that 'autta mess
her up. No such luck. It took her awhile but she compiled a list of the
requested information and read it to me. Unfortunately, that was the only
thing she got right. I said send a text message. She asked for permission
to search my contacts. I gave it. She repeated who would you like to text.
I gave her the name. The name I gave her sounds one way but is spelled
another and I knew she might have trouble with it. She not only had trouble
with it but the app got hung up and started mentioning again who would you
like to text and just kept hammering away at the same question. In the
bottom lower right hand corner of the screen the second button up is the
cancel button although it is not labeled. It took over 5 minutes before the
cancel was completed. She kept offering me more possible names and they
kept getting farther and farther away from the correct one. In my opinion,
the app was more trouble then it's worth. The person in question has a very
common name. I'll use John here although that's not his name. I would
think that she would have offered me all the possible choices based on the
first name but as I said, the choices got wilder and wilder. Although I
only have an iPhone 4, I have heard other people use siri with amazing
results and they didn't have that much trouble with sending a simple text
message. The app is worth what I paid for it which was nothing. I do not
believe this app is any match for siri.

My phone carrier is ATT-T. I installed this app a couple of days ago and it
is working just fine. May be uninstalling it and doing a fresh install will
fix the problem. I had fun using it last night. Good luck.

Hi all. I was doing a search for Siri-like apps again to see if there
was anything new out there and I came across this one. It's called
Speaktoid Assistant. It's very similar to the Voice Answer assistant but
there are features that are in this app that I wish Voice Answer had.
For example, when sending a text to your contacts, instead of you
pressing the send button, the assistant would ask you if this is the
text you want to send and you just reply yes or no to it. You can also
send email with it but I've never tried that yet and reluctant to do so
because from personal experiences, other dictation apps would mess it
up. Anyway, as of this writing, the app is free for a limited time. For
