Yes, you charge them with the USB cord. The microphone is the hole on the in-line controller.. The top buttons are for volume and the on/off switch below that. We use a splitter for hooking them to a computer. it separates the microphone and the headphones. Any other questions, let me lnow. I wonder how the bluetooth headsets are. Thom
