Anytime the hijacked thread issue comes up, the easiest solution is to just 
start a new message if what you are going to discuss is different than what you 
are reading. I realize of course that it is a gray area when discussing 
something like free apps. That in itself could be viewed as one thread. A 
threat of free apps for example. However what ends up happening is that people 
ask individual questions about the individual apps. And so the thread ends up 
turning into four or more different discussions all within one thread. This 
makes it harder for people to sort messages if they look for them specifically 
by thread.
