Hi Craig,

I just tried this and it works fine for me. I first tried the Sleep Timer
with "End of Chapter" as a choice since I happened to have only 3 minutes
left of the chapter. The chapter finished and then the app stopped playing,
I went back in the app and started playing and it resumed with the new
chapter.

I then went back to Sleep Timer and selected 15 Minutes because it's the
shortest time interval and once again playback faded out after 15 minutes as
always and the book stopped playing.

I am not sure what you mean by having to do a "hold and tap". All you have
to do is double tap the Sleep Timer, then find your desired time and double
tap on it. If you start at the top you will notice that the first option is
"Off" and Voiceover will read it as "Selected, Off".

If I then, for example, double tap on 15 Minutes which is the next choice,
the sleep timer screen closes and you are back on the normal main page of
the app. If I then again double tap on Sleep Timer and review the choices,
Voiceover will now say "Selected, 15 Minutes".

Hope this helps,

Sieghard

Subject: Audible.com App

Hello all,

Recently, Audible.com updated their iPhone app. The app includes a sleep
timer that will allow for listening but will automatically turn off the book
after the desired amount of time (e.g., 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes,
etc.). One would choose the desired amount of time with a one finger flick
to a combo box.

After the recent update, the sleep mode button is not located in the lower
left of the play screen. When clicking on it to open, the time choices are
now listed and one performs a a hold and tap to select the desired time.
However, the device does not turn off the book in the desired time. I've
tried several different ways to get it to recognize the sleep time, but it
doesn't seem to work.

Is anyone else having similar problems? If not, what am I doing
incorrectly?

Thank you,

Craig
