Hi Buddy,

Had you read the information on the Sendero website which I pasted into one
of my posts in full and which was referenced in several other messages about
the Seeing Eye app, you would have heard multiple times that in the first 24
hours after they asked for people to send in their information for beta
testing, over 300 people have done so and that they asked others to not send
in their information as they only need 100 and would select those from the
ones who applied first. Also keep in mind that no list member nor any of the
moderators will most likely ever submit your email to anywhere, if you want
to respond to an offer you read about on the list, want to make changes to
your subscription or unsubscribe, is your responsibility to do that
yourself. There are close to 1,500 people on the Viphone list, imagine if
Raul and Cara, the 2 moderators, did that and suddenly several hundred
people would ask them for such favors.

I'm sure a Trekker Breeze is a very good device and some people prefer to
have separate devices, but in my opinion this is probably one of the worst
times to buy such an expensive device considering that Sendero is about to
release an app which will cost maybe a tenth or a bit more than what a
Breeze costs and will do much the same and, in time, most likely could be
better than a Breeze simply because it has access to so much more map and
POI information.

I am not sure what you mean by "how do you get it to the phone"? If you are
talking about the Seeing Eye app you don't at this point since it hasn't
been released yet. If you were asking how beta testers get it on their
phone, they do so via an app called "Test Flight". This is actually a
website/service used by developers who distribute beta software. If you are
accepted into a beta program, the developer will send you a request to
register your iPhone on the Test Flight website. When a version of the app
is available you will receive an email and you can then install the app on
your device via the Test Flight website or app.

By the way, thanks for doing a much better job with your posts. Using at
least some punctuation really does make your messages a lot easier to read,
if that wasn't the case I would not have replied to your message. Now you
just have to use an upper case "I" when you say something like "I bought
blindsquare for my phone", since at least with Jaws the flow of the words
sounds really weird if you don't capitalize it.

Regards,
Sieghard
