Yes apple were aware of the problem but deny it. I had the problem as did many others. Eventually the phone company replaced my phone after lots of arguments and the problem went away with the new phone but on the inernet there are literally hundreds of people who's problems began after the update. You may find it gets worse and your wifi and bluetooth eventually grey out and you can't turn them on. IOS 6.0.2 may have resolved it as my phone is OK since the update so maybe try updating your IOS vewrsion.

I have noticed that when I turn on bluetooth on my 4S, I often lose the wifi connection and switch to 3g, even when in my house with a strong wifi signal. And if I am out, using 3g and my bluetooth is on, when I get home and have wifi access, it never auto-switches over to the wifi if bluetooth remains on. I have to turn bluetooth off and then tell the phone to reconnect to my network. This has been happening for a while, and I'm not sure when it started, i.e. was it with ios 6.1? I'm thinking maybe yes. And I wonder if anybody else has noticed this issue.
