Yes they are under keyboards. It has been awhile but I think under international keyboards.
On my iPhone, it becomes a second keyboard option on the keyboard. I think someone told me the visual is a "world" keyboard. To select it go to the left of space button. It is a tap and hold to switch keyboards. Similar to switching between the letter qwerty keyboard and numbers keyboard which si the next button over to the left (lower left corner of keyboard). Note that the emotions will all speak when you are selecting them and there are tons of fun things that can be selected but if you are selecting images to be sent to an android, they appear as a tray rectangle i the midst of the text, but as the emoticons when communicating on an apple device.
