Basically google voice gives you a number which if you have an app on your
phone, g talk on your computer, or for the sighted can do from with in g
mail. You can send text messages & make & recieve phone calls through that
number. I use mine so I can throw it out there to listeners as a tip line &
don't have to give out my cell number. You can also have it forwarded to any
phone number that you may have so that you can answer it there. So, let's
say you've added your iPhone, your home phone, & perhaps one more, it'll
ring them all & you can answer it anywhere. Hope that this helps.
