One issue with Blind Square is that if you are moving at more than about 30
mph, it just can't keep up with you. It will start missing intersections, or
give you info that is outdated. But it works well if you are walking, or
driving slowly, like on a city bus.

I bought blind square recently too, and myo ne issue, is that as it is
self-voiced, you only get one shot at the info then it's gone, just like
with tapTapC!
ariadne does it by text which VO reads out, so it is on screen to check
before the next output. We can't get all the good bits in one super-app.
And it eats battery,.... I have a Mophie, and an hours walk totalled it
and the phone itself near the end. Not something to use constantly for any
real adventure. Both fully charged might give as much as 2 hours maybe.
This is a new 4S. don't knowi f anyone has taken a Mini out with BSq to see
how well it does? i need some kind of speaker or ear piece before I can do
that. Recommendations welcome.
And ifnally, on the bus, it oculdn't keep up even with streets only, it
missed a major crossing with an island. Walking, pity it didn't say where
the streets it mentions, are - ahead, Yeah!, left or right 3/6/8/11oclock;
useful.
Like I said, can't get itiall in one app.

I use spotify to listen to music instead! No, just kidding. I couldn't
resist. I have tried most of the apps mentioned in this thread and
just got Blind Square yesterday. I look forward to using Blind Square
as personally I find the upcoming street information to be the most
useful along with the address range and Blind Square does both. Plus
it can be run in the backround along with something else as I might
find useful.
